Nrtfest is an annual event put on solely by the volunteers of Neath Round Table.
The event takes place annually on the second weekend of July. This years Nrtfest will take place Friday 12th and Saturday 13th July 2024.
Nrtfest takes place at Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields, Neath Abbey Road, Neath, SA10 7BR.
Please refer to the "Lineup" page for information on what acts are performing and when. The event will finish by 11pm on both nights.
Please see the "Tickets" page to purchase advanced discount rate tickets for the event. However please be aware that the last day to purchase these tickets will be 28th June 2024. If you do not purchase a ticket you will still be able to pay for entrance on the day but will not benefit from discounted rates that are available when purchasing a ticket in advance.
The fair will be open Friday night from 6pm to 11pm & Saturday from 4pm to 11pm however during these times access to the site will be chargeable and you will not be able to access the fair for free.
The fair will also be open at the below times and during these times entry to the site is FREE:
- Saturday 11am to 4pm.
- Sunday 12pm to 6pm.
The free family event day on the Saturday will run between 11am and 4pm when entry to the site will be free of charge. From 4pm onwards the event will be accessible to those holding an evening ticket and those paying the entrance fee on the gate. If you are already on site before 4pm you are welcome to stay for the evening.
There is no parking onsite, but Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields are just a short walk from the town centre where there are plenty of car parks. Please check the times of wherever you are parking so that you don't get locked in!
A security team will be present across the site throughout the weekend. Please approach them if you have any concerns or queries.
Card and cash payment is available across the site however we strongly recommend bringing along some cash in the unlikely event that card payment becomes unavailable. There is no ATM facility on site and we cannot permit readmittance if you leave the site to obtain cash from elsewhere.
This is a live music event. The entrance fee goes towards covering the cost of putting on the event and the headline acts that cost a considerable amount of money.
However, we do appreciate that some people do just wish to visit the fair, and therefore as advertised within the event details there are times across the weekend where the fair can be accessed without having to pay an entrance fee to access the site. These times are as below. Outside of these times, the relevant entrance fee charges will apply.
- Saturday 11am to 4pm.
- Sunday 12pm to 6pm.
The fairground on site is not under our control and we are not aware of the prices. Most attractions accept both card and cash payment.
Food vendors will be present on site or alternatively you may bring your own food onto site.
No, you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the site. Bag searches will be in place for all attendees without exception. Any alcohol will be confiscated and disposed of. You are permitted to bring soft drinks onto site but these must be sealed. No glass bottles are permitted.
We operate a fully licensed bar on site providing draught lager and cider along with a limited selection of wines, pre mixed canned spirits and soft drinks.
Yes! We operate a challenge 25 policy for alcohol sales, please don't be offended if we ask to see your ID - if you cannot provide this when asked we will not be able to serve you.
This is an outdoor open air event with no seating, you can bring a camping chair if you wish.
The event will go ahead if it is raining. In the unlikely event that a severe weather warning is issued that poses a risk to life, the appropriate safety reviews will be undertaken to determine whether the event can proceed.
Dogs are not permitted on our site with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
No, readmittance to the site after exit is not permitted without paying the entrance fee.
